The Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Fort Wayne District (“SVdP Fort Wayne,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a text messaging program to support communication related to charitable assistance and volunteer coordination.
By opting in to receive SMS messages from SVdP Fort Wayne, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Program Description
The SVdP Fort Wayne Assistance Messaging Program provides two-way SMS communication related to:
- Financial assistance intake and case coordination
- Requests for documentation
- Appointment scheduling and reminders
- Application status updates
- Volunteer coordination and program participation (if applicable)
Messages are conversational and case-specific. Messaging is not used for third-party marketing, affiliate marketing, political messaging, or lead generation.
At this time, this program does not include fundraising or donation solicitations.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our services. You may receive multiple messages during an active assistance request or volunteer engagement.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. SVdP Fort Wayne is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.
Opt-In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:
- Submitting a website form that includes SMS consent language
- Providing verbal consent during an intake phone call
- Registering for programs or volunteer opportunities that include SMS disclosure
- Texting a designated keyword to initiate communication
By providing your mobile number and consent, you agree to receive text messages from SVdP Fort Wayne related to your request or engagement.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After you send STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from that number unless you re-enroll.
