For all Business and Corporate donations, please contact the office of the Executive Director.
Donations of Time & Talent
If you would like to volunteer, please contact the store at (260) 456-3561. The store is always in need of volunteers. Our volunteers service customers, stock, sort, clean, and whatever else is needed in the store or warehouse. **Insurance prohibits children from volunteering or accompanying adults during their service time.
How to Donate Items to the Thrift Store
You may drop off acceptable items *(Please see list of acceptable items) at the store.
Monday—Saturday: 9:30am to 5:00pm
Sunday: Closed. Donations NOT accepted.
The Thrift Store offers free pick up of your furniture and large appliances. Please call the store at (260) 456-3561 and describe the items that you have available to donate. The store will help you arrange a time to have your items picked up.
The Thrift Store Accepts the Following Items:
*The Thrift Store accepts new and gently used items that are clean and in good working order.
*Please have your items separated when donating. This will make processing your items much easier.

- Clothing, all sizes and styles (All clothing must be clean & free of any damage)
- Convalescent Items: Walkers, Wheelchairs, Crutches, etc
- Domestics: Linens, Curtains, Blankets, Towels, Sheets, Comforters, etc
- Furniture (Must be clean & free of any damage)
- Home Decor Items: Mirrors, Framed Artwork, Candlesticks, Lamps, etc
- Household Goods: Dishes, Serving Pieces, Flatware, Pots & Pans, etc

- Office & School Supplies
- Records & CDs
- Toys & Stuffed Animals (Must be in working order, clean, & complete)
The Thrift Store DOES NOT Accept the Following Items:
**Any item that has been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Please check the Consumer Product Safety Commission website if you have questions about your donation.
**Any item in need of repair or not in good working order.

Financial Donations
The Society of St Vincent de Paul — Fort Wayne is happy to accept gift cards, prepaid gas cards, prepaid grocery cards, as well as prepaid gift cards from American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

Are my donations tax-deductible?
The Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store will provide a receipt for all donations, if requested. Please consult with your tax preparer for guidance.
Blessed Mother’s Garden
Please feel free to visit the Blessed Mother’s Garden, located on the south side of the Thrift Store, for reflection and prayer. This would be a wonderful way to start your shopping experience or to give thanks for all of your bargains and new treasures.
